2025 Florida Professional Golf Tour (FPGT)
The FPGT Pro-Am was held on Friday, February 14th with 30 teams consisting of four amateurs and one of the FPGT Golf Professionals. The American Cancer Society of Lake, Sumter, Marion Counties and The Villages was our charity. This event has raised over $63,000 for the Cancer Society since 2009. The FPGT Wildwood Open held on February 15 & 16 had a field of 92 golf professionals competing for over $27,000 in prize money. Winners in this year’s event were:

For over 25 years Continental Country Club has been as host to the Florida Professional Golf Tour’s Continental Open, featuring some of the top mini-tour players in the country. In the past, players like Don “Big Break” Donatello who tied our course record of 62 and Dave Rummells have played.
In 2008 this event became a charity event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
