The 2024 Florida Professional Golf Tour (FPGT) Pro-Am and Professional tournamentd were a success despite inclement weather on Saturday & Sunday.  Over 150 professionals and amateurs participated in the Pro-Am benefiting the American Cancer Society on Friday.  I would like to thank all of our corporate sponsors and residents that purchased tee signs.  CCC will be donating approximately $5000 to the American Cancer Society. 
Winners of the 2024 Pro-Am were:

1^st Place (tie)- Tyler Gray, Herb MacIntosh, Coleen Swail, Brad Jollimore, Lonnie Hopson                $61.67 each

1^st Place (tie)-  Doyle, Harry Mitchell, Brook Heimerl, Tom Kubus, Bev Beam                                     $61.67 each

1^st Place (tie)-  Evans, Pete Gilliam, Pat Kubus, Betty Stripling, Linda Salotto                                     $61.67 each

96 Golf Professionals played in the Continental Open on Saturday and Sunday.  Unfortunately, Sunday’s round was cancelled around 3:30 due to the course becoming unplayable due to the amount of rain.  Winners were based on 1^st Round scores.  A special thank you to residents that opened their houses to players to stay.
